The Bitcoin Group, the American original. For over the last 10 seconds, the sharpest Satoshi's, the best Bitcoin's, the hardest cryptocurrency talk. We'd like to welcome our panelists, Josh Gagalla from Voltoro. Heidi Ho, folks. Dan Eve, the crypto raptor. Good evening, folks. And I'm Thomas Hunt from the World Crypto Network moving on to issue one. Escher one, protests continue. The United States continue to be rocked by protests of the over the death of George Floyd by police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Police brutality has increased on the streets with police indiscriminately attacking protesters and press members alike while looting continues in the background. The entire world has joined the protests with protests in Tokyo, Berlin and London, all filling city blocks. Meanwhile, the president of the United States doesn't seem to have a plan, but was thrilled over the announcement of unemployment information today showing that it had gone down from 14% to 13%. Still record highs. Josh Gagalla, your thoughts on this week of police brutality and not much else. Yeah, I mean, we talked about this on last Friday, we said, are they going to be less rights or more or is it going to continue? And yeah, we call it right. It's just going to get worse from here because people are frustrated. They're frustrated with obviously police violence as the seed, but they're frustrated for many, many other things. And we, you know, when the Occupy Wall Street movement happened, it just turned into a shamosil of everybody's grievances towards everything instead of a movement. And I see this happening here too. Everyone's 40 million people out of a job plus more. You've got some of these job numbers, but people are scared to go out and shop and do stuff. So it's the economy is only going to go to south. And yeah, I think there's, there really needs to be some action done and short of like all cops wearing just body cams all that are recording all the time except for when, you know, maybe they're recording when an AICs that there's a figure in front of them or something. So then it doesn't record on the toilet or something, you know, something where you just has to record and the name of the police is in the corner and it's streamed to like, to like library or something like that, something that's immutable. And then the cops will be like, okay, well, I can't do anything illegal because everyone's watching all the time. And if someone really is threatening the police officer, then, then, you know, you, you, then it's fair enough. But short of anything like that, I don't think this is going to stop. And, and in one way, I don't blame people being super angry. What I do think is sucks is that the whole story of looting gets in the way of the whole thing. And, you know, looters just take advantage of chaos and whether you want to put a name to it or not for certain group or whatever it doesn't matter. It's just people taking advantage of chaos. Dan Eve. Yeah, I definitely agree with you there on the, the taken advantage of chaos. And if you think about the, the world wind of a year, 2020's been, you said it yourself, the unemployment's up, you know, writing like we've seen in France, you know, that carried on for like nearly a year. I don't know if, well, the obviously the the COVID stuff brought that to a halt. But that's only gone now that we're back out and social distancing is kind of being a bit more lax. We're only seeing more pent up aggression and, you know, now the people are coming out. They don't have the jobs. They're not part of the movement. And but they're, but they're staining it because of the fact that they're just out to kind of cause, cause trouble. But what's really weird is the fact that like there's all this chaos and yet like stocks are doing cool, which is really weird. It's always like there's a bit finnit. That's not well, not OK. I'm not going to say any any next. There's that it, you know, it's almost like something was propping up the, the stocks, not I didn't say that last word and not wasn't continuing anything that was genuinely next to him. So I don't believe the whole, uh, tell the stuff anyway. I think that's a fear. So just want to make it clear. Very good. Dan and now Thomas Hunt. Oh, what we're seeing now is the result of the militarization of the United States police force following the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. And after those wars, we had extra material such as the bearcat heavy armored personnel carrier that you might see several of the police driving into the war zones that they've created in their communities. This extra machinery was then sold to the police at bargain basement prices so cheap you could barely afford to say no and no one did. And as a result of this, the community policing idea of the 50s and of course starting in 1829 with Scotland yard, the idea that the police are a part of the community. It's someone you could go to for help a trusted member of the community in the wild west, the police were known for stopping feuds family feuds that would go on and on forever unless a third trusted party could step in and mediate the decision. The police in America seem to have given this up in exchange for their lovely military weapons, their military weapons have led to military tactics and they're now smashing the very people there assigned to be protecting ironically a protest that's about police brutality has become about police brutality as they just continuously assault both press and protesters providing no solutions and actually making it worse. So which builds into the exit question, will this deescalate this week or will it escalate Josh could go that will it get better or worse. Unfortunately, it'll get worse and I think you're you're really quite spot on there. It's a militarization of the police and you know most most people so many people have been through the military in America. It's kind of like Israel everyone is but there's there's a hell of a lot of people have been through military and it's very highly esteemed but if you've been through a couple of or more which usually these theaters you go on multiple tours these days and you come back really quite messed up and your drug to try to suppress any bad memories or and I think that's this whole militarization but also you get the industrial military complex funding you know trying to get money out of the states and funding police apparatus with more and more hardware. And yeah you see it like that old man that just got pushed over and he lies on the ground drops his phone and everyone just walked past him. You know this is just utter police brutality all the way around always so yeah body cams all the way. Dan Eve. Yeah I think it's only going to escalate from here and if anything you know it looks like it may go towards the Gilles John sort of movement. I'm not talking about just the actual riots but the protests against police brutality because it's almost nearly daily that you do see something pop up and you'll look just horrified at what they've done. Like you know there was one else reading earlier about like there's a homeless guy is like in a wheelchair disabled and they like they shot him basically point blank almost in the face of one of the like rubber pellets. There's another guy is disabled in their car and he says that you can't get out of the car and they basically they taser him and stuff and he's literally got a wheelchair in the back and it's just it's insane and obviously you know that video I watched it one you know the first time and it's like nine minutes and it's just out of the way. It's just absolutely horrific is you know the lights being drained out of him and it's it's gut-ranging to watch because you can see what's happening you know without even looking at the title or looking you know what's happening so that officer knew what's happening and you know hopefully they'll they'll make a sort of an example of him. Unfortunately I have to agree with the panel I don't think this is going to end anytime soon first of all there are no solutions on the table the current president seems unable to even address the issue or even describe what's happening in the streets instead preferring a fantasy about terrorists and then attacking them. Meanwhile the former president did offer a solution that we could go ground up through the mayors we're seeing some of this happened with the Minneapolis police department disbanding being disbanded by the city council no longer needed. But in general we've already seen all of the officers now charged the main officer Shavin upgraded from third degree to second degree murder in the charge. This is pretty much all that the justice department or the justice system can do until the trial and even then at the trial very difficult to convict police officers in America very difficult so I don't know what else could be offered to the protesters I don't see the current administration even attempting to offer anything instead they just built a big wall around the White House so we'll see how this goes and I will probably be talking about this again next week. As they say just quickly you know if the soldiers don't rock up to the war then there is no war and I think one of the solutions could be that the police just don't show up for a while. I've thought before that police should be like like firefighters or like ambulance or you know these other services that stay at the place where they are like firefighters stay at the fire station and they are not going to be able to do anything. They don't make the fire station until they're called police just roam around looking for trouble and it's very very unlikely that they're going to just suddenly be there when you're being held up they always just come after the fact anyway so you know I think they should probably just stay stay inside until they're called. We'll see how that goes just like to ask everyone to give us a thumbs up and a share really helps people find the show we have about 34 live viewers joining us now thanks so much for joining us be sure to hit that thumbs up or the like button or the retweet or the favorite or the little heart button or whatever platform you're watching on thanks so much moving on to issue to Bitcoin the price the price of Bitcoin went up this week briefly. Rising to 10,398 before an almost perfect Bart Simpson pattern returning to around 9,200 where it then continued to range in the 9,000 dollar range Bitcoin has now hit a triple top of 9,000 9,000 9,000 and a little bit over with 10,000 is this the end of the positive Bitcoin uptrend. Will we see 6,000 or is Bitcoin going to double as Bloomberg projected to 20k Josh Kegala. Eat my shorts man I don't know like I think the part Simpson said I don't know he goes up it goes down you know someone I think HODL are not said it's never going I'm going to dare to say it's never going going below 10,000 again and then Eric Voorhees is like dude whatever because of course it went back down and I mean it the trend line is going up though you know if we zoom out so we'll see we'll see I think the main thing here is to keep stacking and also diversify when you need to depending on your current situation a lot of people don't have money at the moment a lot of people have been a jobless so don't don't don't don't bet your food on it because you never know what Bitcoin is going to do it's so haywire that sure long term it's going to do well but don't risk you know these times where you've got a lot of people risk stuff and gamble on things that shouldn't be we have seen higher lows but we've also seen higher highs Dan Eve so I reckon well because there's all this excitement about the stock to flow ratio you know we've just had the harvining so there's been that kind of little mini climb and a mini dump the hash rate it reads just literally at the point of the harvining almost an all-time high just above 120 ex a hash and it's now it dropped down to like 90 and back up to about 104 something like that 105 ex a hash so it's still like you know we're not in a mining death spiral the miners are still going maybe we've had some more like efficient miners come onto the market so there was a drop where some old miners yeah some old SS9s and stuff when completely out and you know they're almost usually compared to runs to say new new new hardware unless you've got free electricity and but yeah the big red dot came and I think that's the exciting thing so if it if it does follow this stock to flow ratio then we should see a pretty card core pump which would be awesome that would be we'll have to see how it goes now I know earlier on the show I think the eight ball predicted it would be lower next week let's see what it does now will the price of Bitcoin be higher this time next week here we go the magic eight ball the sear of sears prognosticator of prognosticator says signs point to yes the eight ball is on our side now but not on our side earlier I do agree with the panel the price of Bitcoin is going to go up and down I especially interested in what Dan was saying about the hash rate going down previously the price of Bitcoin has followed the hash rate but the hash rate has always gone up as I read an article earlier today on the show with the exception of three different times in the past the price has never declared or the hash rate has never declined three times in the row so it's very rare that this happens but it did happen after the last having and we did just had a having so there is a reason for miners to stop mining or turn off their miners because of the Bitcoin price moving on to the exit question to agree with the eight ball higher or lower next week Josh Gagala I show good higher Dan Eve hi you're right I love to see how it goes so we're all in agreement with the magic eight ball did you know the world crypto network has its own audio podcast and I actually updated it yesterday all right you can check out all the shows from the last couple weeks suddenly added all at once on the world crypto network audio podcast which I'm not going to promise but I'm going to try to update more often maybe after this show but I'm not going to promise it but yes we do have some audio versions of the show on iTunes and Spotify if you prefer to listen also check out the world crypto network store at world crypto network dot store we've got coffee mugs t shirts and coffee mugs check it out issue three Bitcoin acceptance coin radar announced coin ATM radar announced 8000 Bitcoin ATM globally congratulations to general bites easy bit and the rest of the Bitcoin ATM companies really spreading the word and making Bitcoin more accessible thanks to these 8000 Bitcoin ATMs people can access Bitcoin all over the world Dan Eve is Bitcoin adoption happening is it getting easier or harder to buy Bitcoin well I might have a little bit of bias because I'm making it as easy as possible and it's you know not just through ATM's for example that's that's growing massively the more people can actually use their crypto Bitcoin the better and but you know use it in shops you've got general bites and you've got as you said easy bit you've got like Satoshi point in the UK and fast bitcoins as well so there's some you know there's loads of cool places spreading where you can just buy Bitcoin quite fast there's places now you can earn it which is my site rewoolportal.com and we've given out just over a million sets already and since we started we went Bitcoin only and we're pumping out loads more on like bonuses we've just put leaderboards up today but yeah what I'm going to try and get in touch with Martin actually from general bites and and see if we can talk about some sort of a war pull thing going on because our people who are customers you come to reward portal then can't necessarily use Bitcoin in their local area they can't use lightning in their local area but there's always kind of satellite places that you can get you know go and you know cash out by an ATM so you know we're starting to look at building those relationships ourselves but there's so many networks with like BTC pay server and the partnerships that they're they're bringing and other point of sale systems that are just making Bitcoin so much more accessible to the general public and to use and to trade freely over the internet. I would say in the US I'm very impressed with cash app unlike coin base that seems to crash every time the price of Bitcoin goes up cash app just seems to function on its own and refuses to accept any altcoins no like coin no other nonsense just Bitcoin it's relatively easy to use they added a dollar cost averaging per button it's pretty easy to set up recurring payments like $10 worth of Bitcoin a month or $100 to $100.000 is a dollar. So it's a bit coin a month things like that and another thing about cash app once you've activated the Bitcoin withdrawal and deposit which are new features they've added so they're more like a wallet now you can just withdraw the Bitcoin to another exchange or another wallet pretty quickly and pretty easily I always found there were restrictions on that at coin base whenever I had to do a demo I had to kind of set up in advance so I'd get the Bitcoin or I'd have the Bitcoin sent to the right wallet cash apps been handling that really well and I'm going to get a bit coin. And I think they're bulk doing the fees they're running the fees together and they weren't charging for fees right now which is something coin base used to do back in the day but stopped so I'm impressed to see apps like cash app as well as coin base and BTC pay server and the other ways that people are getting and using Bitcoin today. Josh, what's that? I'm sorry I was just going to say say cash apps that you can do things like savings with it as well like dollar cost averaging sort of buying and put yeah that's pretty cool. Yeah it's got recurring payments and it's got the one time payments it hooks up to checking accounts are preferred I think debit card it might charge I think credit card it would charge you like 4% on top so there was an additional fee and then there are certainly fees when you buy say $100 worth of Bitcoin I think you get 95. So there's some fees on there but at least you can withdraw it right away you can put it in your own wallet you can put it in cold storage previously cash app didn't have so much of the deposit or withdrawal but they've added those features so international soon I hope I'll have to ask Jack Josh could go your thoughts on Bitcoin adoption. Yeah it's definitely continuing to rise I'm more and more people are getting I'm starting to get people that are ringing me again and saying hey you know this Bitcoin thing I'm hearing more about it I generally you know we run Bitcoin and selling gold and so we get both we get the traditional and the traditional ones are the ones that really look deep into the market. So we look deep into the economy because a lot of crypto notes they're just like whatever you know it's going to go to the moon so it's we're definitely seeing a precipice happening in the global economy we have a perfect storm here of mass mass money printing huge uncertainty about the future from a lot of older people that have saved their whole lives and they're just looking to put their money outside of the bank. So I think they're just looking to put their money in the banking system because I mean 2008 didn't even have any of this had none of this it just had banks being idiots and giving loans to ridiculous people and that still happened that they got bailed out so they didn't learn their lesson they touched the candle and nothing happened so they're going to touch it again and so that's that I think Bitcoin can only do better I think with the younger people older generations would will still go with gold and anything I don't know if I can do that. I'm for just getting into rare assets it doesn't matter where you sit just get the heck out of banks while you cannot get you know they say don't invest more than you're willing to lose and I said it before as well and I would say don't put it in banks you know too much that you're willing to lose because it's looking sketchy out there folks. Little little update on Coinbase they tweet from Frank Shapiro coinbase wants to sell blockchain analysis software to the IRS and the DEA a year after its neutrino acquisition so probably best not using coinbase sorry. Very creepy conditional it's more more creepiness from Coinbase moving on to the exit question back in the old days we used to ask restaurants to accept Bitcoin and bother servers and hand out dollars to all of our friends Dan Eve what can people do these days to help spread the word about Bitcoin adoption. I maybe it's be be less annoying because one thing we learned in 2017 was all those those funny like you know articles about everyone's getting her real hilariously rich in your not and all these smug crypto traders so just try and inform people but don't be so smug but it just so happens that most most Bitcoiners don't have any money because they use their Bitcoin is Bitcoin and didn't and didn't necessarily hold it for for as long as they should have done. We lived and proved the Bitcoin but one little story so on the on the the convincing a restaurant so i'm i've mentioned this before but they have great great right tried to when we're at the meal with nindi and the London power out and we tried to convince the and Craig Ryan tone base trying to convince the guy to take Bitcoin and he just wouldn't accept it and then eventually as we walked out i've got some of it on video and as we walked out he's looking at we've already paid and everything and he's looking at his phone obviously like researching Bitcoin. And it's like see what is going on it's going just i have to sit down and he's like going wait wait you said too big one you said too big and no no no no he's like oh no go back. And No, no we walked out unfortunately so he missed his opportunity, but yeah just do what you can to help people about it and obviously not owning your own Bitcoin and only the private key so it is it's a good risk and so you know when you do use the service you do you know have tomasterli have your own private keys, store it in like cold storage or a hardware wallet or something like that. We'll just remember the things in your head. But don't rely on me to say don't do that based on what I said. Obviously write it down somewhere. If you're good enough for memory, I think, you know, but obviously there's a risk, bigger risk there. So don't listen to me. Anyway, go go research it. There needs to be some kind of saying about brain wallet, something similar to the legal saying where a person who defends themselves has an idiot for a client, something like a person who tries to remember their own passcode has an idiot for a brain or something tied in there because yeah, it's it's a great idea and I wish it would work and share you'd be in prison, you know, pumping the iron, remembering your magic words all the time, trying not to forget it. But then someone hits you head with a baseball bat and you just forget everything. You can't even control it. So brain wallets are very dangerous. That way we used to talk on the old days, there was a company that was trying to make like a brain scan wallet where you think of like an apple and it would unlock your wallet. And they were also very concerned about after strokes, people's brains, the patterns change. But back back to the topic Josh Gagalla, what would you do and suggest that people do to spread the word about big adoption? Yeah, I mean, talk to crypto companies and get them to accept lightning network payments because in the next ball run, if Bitcoin isn't ready for the next ball run, we will just have people jumping to something else. And if you know, I have respect also for other blockchains in the space, I'm not full Bitcoin, but if Bitcoin wants to succeed then and if people are big coiners, then you should go out there and try to get them to accept it. And if there's a shop, I think shops, physical shops aren't really the best. I always went for online retailers, especially freelancers and freelancers are very open to it compared to shops that are bricks and water because shops have employees, they've got to teach someone that employee leaves and the tablet is like lying around and all those bosses taking the tablet home and it just never works. So online is who we have to convince not bricks and water. I would agree with that. And while I think we should still do all the old things like ask waiters to accept Bitcoin and give out dollars to all of our friends, I think the new things to do are what Joshua saying is to go where we're wanted. Let's not keep running into a brick wall. I've seen a lot of noble bit corners try to convince the guy at Walmart to accept Bitcoin, but we all know he's not in charge of anything even his own register. So for talking to someone, let's make sure we're talking to a decision-maker. And if they're interested, let's only pitch them if they're interested. Put the little feelers out, but if they don't respond, let's just move on and let's go like Josh said, to the online, to the internet, to the place where Bitcoin works the best, where it's the most understood, where there's the most people that can help them, where there's people that can know how to go to YouTube, they know how to Google things, they know how to read Wikipedia, they're ready for Bitcoin if they're online. If they're out there in the normal world, you just never know. You could be talking to, there's a great video the other day we played someone during the protests, they asked them what they could do to improve the economy and they said, opt out, buy Bitcoin and the camera quickly cut away and was horrified and the guy was wearing a deer stalker, Sherlock Holmes hat and he seemed a little autistic. He's still doing his best, he's plugging the word out there. Everybody that holds up the card, the buy Bitcoin and guide, the Congress, the people with the banners and the flags, I think that still helps. We're definitely still on TV a lot. They mentioned Bitcoin and TV shows, that's still going. But yes, we just continue that effort and go where you're appreciated. If your friends aren't into it, find some other people and show it to them. So moving on to issue four, don't forget about me. Everyone forgot about the coronavirus because they all needed to go out and protest and show their support for George Floyd, which is great and laudable. But the virus doesn't care. The coronavirus is continuing to spread in the United States, where they never allowed the chart to go downward. They never waited for the chart to go downward. They just waited for it to go flat and they thought flat was good enough. Well, the virus thinks flat is good enough to and the virus continues to spread in Washington, Montana, Idaho, California, Utah, Arizona, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Alaska. Let's also put Georgia in there. They changed how they report their virus cases so they won't show up on this list. But we know it's going to spread there too. Will there be a second wave of the coronavirus? Meanwhile at the White House out of sight is out of mind. The chairs for the press briefing today were spread up in social distancing. The press reporters were wearing masks to protect themselves and others from the virus. Instead, the White House pushed the chairs close together and none of Trump or his advisors wore masks today, standing shoulder to shoulder, breathing in each other's germs, doing their best to spread the virus. Additionally here in Las Vegas, we've reopened the casinos where all of the employees are wearing masks, but very few of the customers. Human beings have a limited attention span. We paid attention to the virus for months and months, but now we're tired of it and we wish that it would just go away. Dan Eve, will the virus just go away or will nature survive and we will see a second wave of virus outbreaks? Well, I think like I think the odds are pretty good in our favor. If you think about like all the tech and stuff we have now and and and how like we've survived other stuff, you know, I think I think we've got under control. I'm pretty confident that there's like, you know, the whole world's focused on it. It's not like, you know, when SARS happened or whatever, it wasn't the whole world on it. This literally shut the whole world down. And so we've, you know, we've got a lot more information on on therapeutics a lot faster than we would have done. So I think like, I think it's kind of, I think we're going to have under control. I'm a bit of an optimist about this. If I'm honest. Josh Kegala. Yeah, just protect people over 70 basically. That's the way that's the way Europe's doing it. Well, Germany, especially that's where I am and it's everyone's having a normal life. Yeah, weight is a wearing mask. You know, you shouldn't go around coughing on people, but you know, in the economy needs the, the economy without an economy, you get a lot of suffering and death and violence and domestic violence and everything else. It's, it's really kind of dangerous not to have a virtual, a society that's actually churning and working. And it can downward spiral and it can go really hard. If, if, if people don't eat for a couple of days, they either put on uniforms or they, or they just get violent in other ways. So meaning when they put on uniforms, they either are war starts or, or, you know, something like civil war, like we're almost, you know, seeing in the states where it can get pretty scary. So I don't know what I was getting to there, but yeah, I think that the end of the day, you have to protect the elderly full stop. You know, 30, 40% of people that get it, I think it's 30% that get it don't really feel that much. Other 30% feel pretty bad, like, you know, triple the flu and the flu is very dangerous. The flu is actually a very dangerous virus, but we've got news to it. It's just sort of, you know, like, I, we know how it's just the flu, but even people in their 30s can die from the flu. And, and so it's just about having to proper precautions until, until we're more used to it, but you protect the elderly and that's, that's the way to move forward. I feel we have seen some encouraging signs. They're saying that the virus is not mutating as much as they thought it would. So that's good. That's likely that one vaccine would likely kill all versions of the virus. They're strongly believed to be kind of an Italian version or European version of the virus. And then the Chinese version, the virus having lots of time to mutate and spread out between those two. As sad as it still is, I think we're in a bubble, especially in the United States. Certainly countries like Germany, where you could see the second half of the curve, the curve went down, meaning that there was less virus in the area. That was good to open. We never, ever saw that in the United States. So until we see that, it's not over. And even then it's not really over till we get a vaccine. We've seen a lot of good news on the vaccine, Bill Gates, and others continue to set up factories in advance to start prototyping the vaccines so that they can have the millions of doses necessary when they do have a breakthrough. This is destructive. I mean, they're doing eight factories with the goal that one of them works. They're just going to throw out the seven other factories, but that's how you do it. If you want to get something up to scale like that, they're still hoping to have a vaccine in the new year, maybe by June. We'll see. But I do think it's a mistake to just forget it and hope that we could put it in the past. I've seen a lot of people kind of overjoyed. You know, everything is open again. That means it's safe. No one's wearing masks. That means it's safe. They're all getting together again. That doesn't mean it's safe. That means that like we said earlier, a lot of people are just tired of this. They have virus fatigue. They've been inside too long. They just can't take it anymore. So they're going to take the risks. And again, it's a role of the dice. Maybe you get sick. Maybe you get weak symptoms and you do fine. Maybe you get strong symptoms. Maybe you get worse symptoms and it damages your lungs and your systems for life. Or maybe it just kills you. Remember, it affects people differently. People with diabetes, people who are overweight, people who don't exercise, people with respiratory problems, smokers, so on and so forth. It affects everyone differently. And generally, I think the goal should be to not get it and to wait for the vaccine. But as a society, we're also treat everyone differently. Everyone's different. There's all kinds of issues with the vaccine and the vaccine is a weakened version of the virus. And certainly, I mean, the vaccine could kill the vaccines part of the virus. I don't think the vaccine is going to randomly cause Asperger's or anything. But we'll see how it goes. So I'm still waiting thinking we're in a bubble. Let's go to the exit question. Go to Dan and then Josh. Will we see a second wave of the virus? Will we see it this summer? This fall or never? Dan Eve. I think I'm going to be optimistic again. I'm going to go for never. And I think part of the reason for that is that there was, I was watching recently about Italy, the strain they've got left with, it doesn't tend to be the one that's the sort of really hardcore strain. So if that's the case, then we, you know, we, in fact, we may get a second wave, but the second wave might be of the much less harsh version. So we kind of, we don't notice it. And it doesn't become a second wave in terms of, you know, life's stopping still, you know, economy shutting off and and flight shut and everything. So I hope it doesn't because I really, I just literally, like a month before everything shut down, I went to you to see in Vegas and then L.A. and, you know, got I've got myself an unlimited air lounge pass, air lounge pass. So I was really cheesed off the last four months. I've had no trips, no conferences. I'm starting to run out of t-shirts because I've used all the free t-shirts from conferences to, to like do my DIY and stuff. So I'm looking, I'm looking like a hobo. It's not good. I mean, look at this. I tried to cut my hair and it all went wrong. I thought I'd get one of those COVID haircuts and now that didn't work out very well. The shave has stopped and all sorts. So I won't be doing that again. So I for one, we're just like it all to go away and just hope that everything goes back to normal. But people don't die and you know, there's no kind of screwing up at you. I hope we've got all the loads of equipment now. I've had loads of time to prepare for having a, you know, all the masks and all the gear and you know, latex gloves and stuff like that. Probably got loads of leftover for good office parties and stuff. But yeah. Bye bye, COVID. Josh Kegala, fall, summer or never. I think humanity will get used to it or just be a thing and, you know, better protect grandpa and grandma from it. You know, I mean, really it is looking very, very typical of something just affects older people. So as people, maybe it'll get us just more used to, you know, not breathing on old people. I think it really, it's kind of sad in that way. I think because older people really cherish time with young people and that's not happening. And I'm seeing it when I look at some of those effects, they're really the most tragic because elderly, you know, zoom and all that, but whatever it's not like cuddling your grandchild, you know, and yeah, that life is not breathed into them and that that's really sad. But that isn't. And the elderly are even less likely to know how to use video conferencing and other technological tools that could help them overcome this. They're more likely to be hard of hearing where you do have to get close to them to talk to them to hear them, etc. So it can be very hard and that's going to be difficult. Again, I'm going to stick with the double negative on this. I'm sticking with it. I think that they're going to say that the summer outbreak was caused by protesters. They're going to say that the fall outbreak was caused by travel. And remembering the United States, the fall outbreak could come out just around the same time as the presidential election in November. So stay tuned. And we'll see how it goes. Let us know in the chat and the comments down below. If you think there's going to be a second outbreak or if you're optimistic than that, we're going to move on to predictions or story of the week. Dan Eave, are you ready with a prediction or a story of the week? So I'm going to I'm going to share again, but it's all contextual. So my story of the week was that when I've, when we launched the reward put last year, one of the cool things we found was that people were messaging us and saying that they were able to get the tokens and then trade them in for Bitcoin and then use them and buy food and stuff. And that was absolutely awesome. It felt amazing to hear that. And so the platform took a bit of a sort of silent phase. You've changed over hands. I've made it Bitcoin only now. And I was kind of waiting for a kind of cool story that we can sort of follow up and track along with the development of Warpall. And like last night, the first person to receive a bonus was from Venezuela. They've struggled to find, they're both not doing very good. So they're able to stack stats and then use it. He sent me a video earlier of him sort of in a car, in a traffic jam for gas. It's like eight hours or something and you can just see cars all down the road. So this is something that we're sort of making a difference. And I think that's that's really quite cool. So my story is about not just that, but also if you can do anything to to make a make Bitcoin accessible yourself, so whether it's like coming up with a service or doing something even just kind of kind of a boy band. It's technical. I probably could be in a boy band. I'll give it a go. I'll try one of it. I'll try another cover, crypto cover. But yeah, just whatever you can do, whether it's reading code, contributing to Bitcoin in any way, just do it. Pick something up and just do something with Bitcoin. And I definitely recommend LMBs, because we were able to implement lightning so incredibly easy. And yeah, that's the awesome thing. So we've given out over a million stats already, Satoshi surveys, and we hope to be one of their kind of game changes really with making Bitcoin accessible. And yeah, changing people's lives with it. All right, very cool, Dan. And everyone can check that out at reward portal.com reward portal. All right, Josh Gagala, a story of the week or a prediction. Go ahead. Yeah, I just wanted to reply actually to Spanish chicken here. You can mention Voltoro too. You used to be damn man. No, you know, I mean, people know Voltoro. You spend you Bitcoin, you buy gold, you spend you gold, you buy Bitcoin back. And happens like that. You don't need to trust banks. And yeah, you just basically have gold sitting in a vault, high security, fully insured, fully ordered. That's the thing. I don't want to be a shiller. I mean, Dan's just launching this thing. And he's his stuff's very, very cool as well. But I just did want to say that, you know, people, I saw this video the other day. I was just replying to hear the Spanish chicken said, I came here for BTC news, not your unskilled views on fake pandemics. And the thing I want to say to that is I saw a video that came out that was like, what have you do? Don't start a podcast. We don't want to hear your views. We don't want to hear your talk. And basically telling people to shut up. And also, I saw this over the last 10 years, maybe 15 years, more and more of the the talking points were about how famous people should shut the hell up about anything. And it's funny. Yeah, it's funny. And it's annoying seeing, you know, people get up at the Oscars and giving the virtual speeches. But at the same time, people should talk. I mean, people should give their opinions. Yeah, it might not be fully educated in your eyes. But it's important that people talk. People, it's important that people talk about different perspectives. And you might not be an expert. But this day and age, the internet allows people to be experts in a certain field. There's also echo chambers and disinformation. But I think it's that people discuss these things. And a lot of the time, Dan and Thomas won't agree with me. And we discuss different points of view. And I just think it's important not to pull people down and say, hey, you guys aren't experts. So shut the hell up. Because really, there's so many fake experts that Trump's about on the news channels as well. So that's my story. I like it. We just had a story kind of like that today with Laura Ingram, the Fox news host, when LeBron James and Kevin Durant were speaking out about race issues before it was so so violent and everything. As she told them to shut up and dribble. But when Drew Breeze, the white football player spoke out recently on race issues and he agreed with her. Suddenly, she says what Josh says that everyone should have an opinion and it's great. And I played the clips back to back. So that's definitely something we've been doing on the Thomas Hunt show. Over the week here, we've had another five live shows around 9 a.m. Pacific time. And we've just been trying to talk out the news. And yes, I do wish we could talk about Bitcoin all the time. But one of the reasons I talked about Bitcoin in the first place is because I thought it was the most important thing happening right now when the coronavirus happened when the police protests in the street in America happened. I like Bitcoin and I want to focus on it all the time. But these other issues are important too. And we think that you should be getting a broad range of discussion on them. Maybe someone not from the mainstream media. And there's so much video and so much information available on the internet that it's really easy to provide commentary and discussion. And we have the chat and the chat disagrees with us sometimes and agrees with us other times. And I think it's a great thing we have going here. So I hope we can keep going and keep giving us those thumbs up. Keep commenting. If you agree or you disagree, keep chatting about it. Be sure to use timestamps. If you want a shout out to Jeremy in the chat. He's been timestamp in the Bitcoin group. Yes. Have a special and all kinds of shows for us for a long time. We really appreciate Jeremy doing that. He's just a volunteer. And if anyone else wants to timestamp, if you want to say this part here, you just say 47 colon 11 and you just type that into the YouTube chat after the show. You can't do it till after. But and then yeah, you can say, Hey, I disagree with this. I support this or whatever. So we appreciate you guys so much here at the World Crypto Network. Be sure to give us a thumbs up and a share. Also, if you want to donate, we have our tally coin fundraiser here. We're trying to raise a million dollars in Bitcoin. We most recent donation was 262,144 Satoshi's. Very cool. Yeah. When we talked about flattening the curve, though, that's not the curve that should be flattening. Yeah. You can also donate now with a $10 donation on the Lightning Network with this QR code here. Thanks to DJ booth and tally coin for also implementing Lightning. And if you'd like to donate with your credit card and you don't have to spend your Bitcoin this way, you can subscribe at patreon.com slash WCN. We set this up a while ago. I think max set it up most recently. So we had a debate about whether or not we should charge people $5 or $20. I think I was for $20. And it looks like nine people are paying us $54 a month to keep doing this show. So if you'd like to donate five bucks or 20 bucks a month, we really appreciate that you can get access to this video here with max as well as some behind the scenes. Patreon only videos that I don't even remember doing. So check those out on the World Crypto Network Patreon. There are so many different blogs and things to try to keep updated. But I'm definitely going to try to update the podcast. I'm only a couple episodes behind right now. So this is my best hope. But I think that's about it for this episode. Anything else you guys want to say before we go to the end here? It's the 5G man. It's the 5G. Oh yeah, I want to recommend the movie The Hunt. If you're looking for something. Just scratch yourself. Just something fun, escapist. It's a little violence. Kind of a slasher film. Not going to lie to you. Fun. Fun. I like it. I like the movie The Hunt. So check that out. And it kind of has my name too. So I'm really glad that I like it because otherwise there's nothing else I could do about it. But thanks so much for watching. Until next time.
