Crypto-Neport. The Bitcoin Group, the American Original. For over the last 10 years, the sharpest Satoshi's, the best bitcoins, the hardest cryptocurrency talk. We'd like to welcome our panelists, Darren, the Crypto Donkey. Hi, everyone. And I'm Thomas Hunt from the World Crypto Network. This week, moving on to issue one, the price of Bitcoin today is down 2.2%, with the last of 79,847, a high of 82,320, and a low of 78,720. Volume was at 1,905 Bitcoins changing hands. That's $1,252. Satoshi's. Issue 1, Bitcoin tops 80,000 briefly. Crypto Winter is close to being over. Darren, they've got their charts and their graphs, but they say the price is going up and it's been going up.

What do you think about the price of Bitcoin? I think the price of Bitcoin and one Bitcoin is one Bitcoin. I think the interesting thing with all of the price action is like, you know, here, you know, it's about that financialization of Bitcoin nowadays. Big banks, you know, those big organizations, ETFs, and then what have you had? You had some of the US job figures of sort of push things around a bit. I don't know. I think probably we're coming out of the bear market, though, coming soon, bull market near us. See, and that's just the thing. It's never one thing or the other. It's never in the middle. It's always like, oh, you've got have this you got to have that and yeah the the bear's over now it's a bull market boom just like that yeah the long terrible hoddle is over you've been staying inside you've been storing your nuts saving your money saying to everybody oh bitcoin's going to come back oh there's a reason i'm doing this oh i suffer terrible losses and now you're you're a blackjack player and you're you're like oh the table's starting to turn my way oh i've got some of my losses back oh everything's going to be fine now.

Like, nobody knows that. Nobody knows it's going to be fine. But they all say it's a bear, it's a bull market now, so it's going to 250. So everybody who predicts that now is going to be a smart investor guy. They're going to say, oh, I made this much and this many days. Oh, I move this percentage, blah, blah. So that's good. I like that. I like the bull market better than the bear market. But then the problem is the bull market always ends. And you never know what it's going to be. And you're always like, yeah. roller coaster yeah and then something happens and everyone's like oh bitcoin's a terrible asset why would you hold that oh this is a terrible plant you've ruined us all yeah i i mean but my my biggest worry around bitcoin and price is the politicization that's sort of going on around it particularly in the states i don't think that does bitcoin any good at all well yeah the politicization is going to set us back like decades instead of seeing bitcoin as something that both sides could use something that's more of a neutral asset has its own rules it's become a right-wing crypto asset everything is trump making his own coin making so much money off it the failed clarity act legislation they say they have some other legislation they're going to get through they have like nine days left or something there there's even a thing now where again i don't want to start any rumors but it seems like speaker johnson is going to hold the congress out until the midterms because of they say they're trying to get Epstein legislation through again so no doesn't look good for there but yeah we're definitely a right-wing cryptocurrency culture now we only eat meat we shop at steak and shack so much do you believe these steak and shake numbers they're like oh the bitcoins are shopping at our establishment and that's why our numbers are you crazy are you crazy you know how many like bitcoins there are like they're not using Bitcoin.

So anyway, any more on the price, Darren, before we make you predict against the source of all truth in this or any other universe? I mean, do you have anything to say to the Hodlars who made it through this or people who are just joining now? They're like, oh, I'm going to get into that Bitcoin now that it's cool again. Yeah, I mean, you know, I certainly am, but even the sort of the cycles. And, you know, so. So yeah, I think we're going to approach the number go up again for a period of time. And then it will go down again and then it will go up and then it will go down. I think that's the only thing to say static is one Bitcoin is always one Bitcoin.

And the other thing is, you know, certainly in the States, UK, Europe, all of that printing and debt is still going on and on and on. So, you know, is the price really going up or is it just our... fiat currency is devaluing over time i want to be that guy at parties again he's like they have no idea they have no idea anyway now it's your time you must face the bitcoin predictor ball the source of all truth in this or any universe darren will the price of bitcoin be higher or lower this time next week i think we will be lower I'm sticking with higher. I'm a bull and I'm bullish. Here we go. Let's see what the ball says. Here we go. Shaking it can cause bubbles.

Will the price of Bitcoin be higher? Without a doubt. Without a doubt, the ball is a bowl. So there you go. Now you have your prediction advice. You're set for the week. Moving on to issue two. Philanthropy. Bitcoin Coinbase CEO boasts that he would never donate to chair. He called it a net negative on the world. Brian Armstrong, in a new article by Futurism, claims on the Katie Miller show, the wife of Stephen Miller, who works in the White House for President Donald Trump, says that charity is a net negative and that it always seems to become ideological. I think he means left-wing. Something about giving stuff away becomes ideological. $1.7 billion with a B.

Thomas Hunt, you're on the line. What do you think about Brian Armstrong coming out strong against charity? Well, I expected the normal libertarian argument that, you know, I made my way in the world. Why should anyone else help anyone else? But obviously, Brian Armstrong was funded by a startup, you know, 21 startups or whatever it is, and Y Combinator. They all backed him. He was a backed company. other people with money helped him out. And, you know, why shouldn't he help someone out? But he says that they become left-wing. I expected him also to go with the charity has too many levels. There's too much bureaucracy. I give to the Red Cross, but it never really gets to the sick person out there.

But instead, he's come with this weird ideological argument about charity. He's gone on a very right-wing podcast to say this. He could have gone anywhere. As Darren and I were saying before the show, As PR, people must be going nuts. Brian, what are you doing? Brian, how could you say this? And it's obvious right now there's going to be a Brian Armstrong Foundation. He's going to have to donate millions of dollars. He's going to have to go cut the ribbon off a building full of sick kids because he's a bald crypto CEO seems inhuman already. And he's boasting now that he would never donate to charity. Darren, what do you think about Brian's take on a no charity, never.

Yeah, I don't know. I mean, but it's a very, it's a very strange article. And it's like the, you know, when I read it, I thought, it's a bit click-baity, you know, maybe he's saying one thing but meaning another. But I don't know. I mean, it's like, it's a very strange approach to take. And I think you're right about his people are going to be, you know, slapping him around a bit and saying, you need to sort this out. It seems a bit of an own goal. I haven't watched the actual. interview itself. But, you know, part of me thinks, if I play devil's advocate, I do sort of agree about sort of, you know, if you're giving and there are those sort of, you know, the levels of bureaucracy and things that are sucking up the money and not actually going to where it's needed, I think that's sometimes a difficult thing.

But, you know, the guy's got enough money to be doing good in the world. know in my opinion you should be doing good in the world right and that's a bit of a it's probably a moral reason to do that right it's a you know if i was sat on eight billion i don't think i'd be making that same sort of statement at all you'd be helping whoever you could help right it seems after the first billion you'd have to try to help some people right or maybe the first hundred million you'd be like this is a little much uh the other thing i agree i think you should have gone with the there's too many layers to charity argument but then the obvious thing is brian armstrong hero of coinbase why don't you use your techno powers to fix this why don't you make there be less layers in charity and why don't you have a direct board where people can apply and they could get free money or something like that they could use cryptocurrency right exactly yeah exactly it's not it's not outside the wit of man to to do good.

So it's a very strange, it's very strange position to take. And yeah, I can't really, I can't really understand how anybody would really think like that. So it's, yeah, it's a peculiar one, right? It's shocking that no one coached him for this show. Nobody was like, Pride, you're going to go on the show. You're going to be on TV. People are going to watch you. They're going to quote back everything you say. You can't say anything mean. You have to be like Mr. Rogers here. And like would Mr. Rogers say, no, I don't give to charity? No. And he also didn't control $8 billion of wealth. Like it's ridiculous. Like you have to kind of sit back and have this like cosmic mind meeting with yourself.

The old Brian would knee-jerk say, like, I don't like that. I mean, it's kind of like Elon Musk, right? It's this flippancy where once you reach a certain level of insane, wealth which is a whole separate conversation if we should have that in our society if we should tax that out if they should have to donate or start you know charity campaigns or whatever to hide their wealth or something it's it's all of that aside like he just like let it slip like he must have felt incredibly comfortable with katie miller with stephen miller's wife um to like let this kind of thing go like you're saying i haven't seen the interview either uh i don't know that i will but boy it does sound like a train wreck of an interview because like we were saying here we're like oh well if if he says there's too many levels uh between me and the donation in the red cross and we all everyone seems to think that's kind of reasonable and if he was here to present his new charity platform i'm going to donate 10 million to brian's charity platform and you can apply right here and our our caregivers will check out your account and whatever make sure you're legit and then send you the money directly like that would have been awesome right but that that would have made sense like Like, you're going to go on the Katie Miller show for a reason.

I wonder what the reason he was going to go on the Katie Miller show, like it was announcing a new product, trying to get new customers. Like, it's such a right-wing sliver of a show. You're so saying, like, I am right-wing. And then you go on and you say, I don't like charity. I'm like an Ayn Rand person. It's such a series of obvious fumbles. Like, unless Elon Musk is your model, Trump is your model, misstepping is on purpose. You know, Boris with the crazy hair. Yeah, I mean, I wonder, I wonder if it's a right wing sort of channel. And then he said about like sort of, you know, those organizations are ideologically captured or whatever. Is he actually trying to sort of play up to that audience?

You know, and then he's been picked up elsewhere, rightly so. And, you know, it's come a cropper, basically. I wonder if it's something like that. I do think he was probably trying to play to the crowd, and he was, you know, getting bats on the back. They're like, yeah, you're right. All charities, ideological, blah, blah, blah, giving food to those poor people. Oh, you're such a left-wing thing that Jesus Christ would do. Oh, that's so, you know, not right-wing macho man, guns and hunting thing. Like, I mean, again, that's awesome. Absolutely nonsense. After you passed a billion dollars. Like, after you passed 100 million, It's like you got to bring up one of those little books.

You're like, I gave out this much and this much. And, you know, in addition to the idea that I'll bet if you asked Brian, if you got him in like a comfortable moment, he'd be like, yeah, I don't like paying taxes either. And there's different ways to say, oh, taxes go to the defense or taxes go to people who have less or taxes go to this program or that program or, you know, all of those things don't matter and you should just be free and wild in society, which like, again, your cryptocurrency would be nothing. killed by a person with a sharp stick. Like a sharp stick versus like crypto wallet. Oh, sharp stick won. They didn't even take the crypto wallet.

Like they're just anarchy in the streets. But for him, no, yeah, I think it was Pat's on the back. It was a bad move. He's regretting it now. He's like, say, oh, in his like billion dollar studio apartment with his giant view and his fancy speakers. He's like, oh, I shouldn't have said that stuff. Now they know. You would hope that he's thinking that. Well, he has to. Otherwise, he's like Lex Luthor. Otherwise, he's out there. Exactly. And the picture doesn't help. He's got his hands in the air. Space Cube. Space Cube is like, this is why I make more money than you. This is how I do it. I use a space cube. So, oh, yeah, it's good stuff. I thought it would be a wild fun issue.

I thought I could get somebody. It's too bad. We don't have, like, the guest this week. We're looking for more people. But we need somebody to come out and say, like, there should be no chair. Brian's made all the money. He made that all himself. Like, when the group of, like, billionaires that worked for Y Combinator gave his startup, like, millions of dollars, and they all spent it together with all the other people who worked at the startup who worked very hard, and they all got shares. And, like, all of that, it was such a libertarian, independent enterprise with, like, all the stockholders and all the complexity. Like, again, it's just such an obvious misstep, and it's such a...

You already look like Lex Luthor. Like, don't act like... So all you have to do is like, what would Lex do? Don't do that. Yeah, not that. Don't do that. Nah, he blew it. He blew it. He needs to go watch more Superman movies. All right, let's keep it moving. Check out World CryptoNetwork. World CryptoNetwork.com. Give us a thumbs up and let people know you're watching. Tennessee has banned Bitcoin ATMs. Oh, but cryptocurrency businesses are challenging the law in federal court as scam. victims share their stories I was going to say fighting back there's no way they're fighting back if they think they're getting their money back because that's over like you can yell at that computer address all you want you could say oh watch it move to the next address and then wherever it goes and those bits are gone it's a disaster if you send your money into a Bitcoin thing it's the same thing if you put your money in a box and you send it at the post office the hackers are going to start demanding money in boxes we're going to have to shut down the post office it's gone too far like we don't need to worry about educating our older population so that they don't go to the bank get all of their money override controls you don't have controls on your account say Dan like let's say you couldn't get more than 5,000 in a day these guys are so charged up by these scammers these scammers are like oh we're gonna put your son in jail oh you're gonna make you pay the taxes on your IRS and again these these These police officers and IRS men are now accepting Bitcoin.

Like it's incredible, incredible, you know, time we believe in of this libertarianism and this freedomism of them accepting Bitcoin. And I don't even think these people think it's a bribe. They don't think they're bribing these people. They think it's an official channel to pay someone off. And they'll go to the bank and they'll override the 5K. They'll say, like, give me more. And then they'll take the seven down there and they'll put it in a box and they'll send it through the post office. But the post office now is Bitcoin. We've told you for a long time. We cover this kind of story. We tell you this is going to happen. They're going to ban them. It's the way to go.

But again, they could do this on the internet now. They can send it through their screen. They can ban them from doing that. There's different ways. But we'll see how they do it. Darren, what do you think about the ATMs being banned in Tennessee? And the victims, while I don't think that they're getting their money back, they're getting to tell their stories. And they're all the same story, right? Yeah, yeah. I mean, we've had ATM machines, Bitcoin ATM banned in the UK for quite a while now. But, you know, obviously I feel sorry for the victims. But interestingly, I don't think this isn't a Bitcoin thing at all. The problem has happened earlier on where they've had that phone call from, you know, the HMRC, the IRS, the police, whoever.

And so, you know, that is just a traditional. scam thing that's happening and having that sort of like you'd be better off educating people about how scams work you know that those the sense of urgency that the official nature to it that would be a better thing to be helping victims and stopping other victims in in future so the banning of the ATM is not going to solve the problem you know that the scammers are going to go on, they'll use fear, they'll have them, as you say, doing stuff online. You know, they've already got them at that point. The scams, all of these scams are on the rise. I mean, I think I probably get maybe three or four police scams to me every week.

You know, I'll have the Metropolitan Police Cybercrime Unit calling me, you know, they are not AI generated. They are real people, you know, with real English. accents and sounding like policemen you know and what you can't do is you shouldn't even engage with these people you shouldn't talk to them you know you should just hang up and not listen to the to the sort of whatever pitch they've got for you well and that that's the real thing we need to teach people is hang up too many people are polite they're bored they're stuck at home they're on a fixed income they'll talk to anybody on the phone And people don't understand this isn't like a normal phone call.

Like I'm not just calling you up like ad limit like, you know, oh, your refrigerator's running and I'm telling you all these jokes or whatever. This is a factory. Imagine like your normal teleconference or what it's called telemarketing organization, telemarketing. You have everyone, they have a script. They read the script. They say, oh, Mr. Johnson, and they flip to the right page. And they say they have a tree of decisions. They're like, oh, they said this. what about that? And they flip to the page and the tree. And they've practiced, right? They do this all day long. They have a trainee right there. They can even have the trainee, the professor guy can come in and say, oh, hold on a sec.

My manager is on the phone. And they can take over the call. This is organized. Like they work on this all day long, making these fake phone calls. Like everyone, they're just call, call, call. And they're going to take these people's money. I think like Darren, it's super convenient to blame the crypto ATMs. scams have stopped in the United Kingdom. There's no more scams on old people. Actually, you said you got phone calls today, Darren. You probably didn't go that far. How do you think they wanted you to send the money? Maybe I was going to say the next thing to be banned, it's really obvious to me. I look into the crystal ball right here. I can tell you it's iTunes gift cards.

All the gift cards that you see on the racks at the stores, the old people, no offense, Darren, but the old people are at home writing down these codes and send them to the IRS and they're sending these codes to the royal police like you're saying all this up it makes no sense and we're talking like thousands of dollars to these royal police in iTunes gift cards which makes as much sense as Bitcoin right Bitcoin makes the government doesn't take Bitcoin right shocking alert like we they don't like they don't take like coin either oh they're they're only taking Manero now this is you know upgrades but yeah it's it's rampant it's going to be crazy.

We've predicted that they're going to ban the ATM. So we've reached the banning ATMs at the state level. There's obviously going to be a national bill. We have to protect the children. We have to protect the old people. We're going to ban the ATMs. We're still going to let them answer the phone calls. And we're still going to let them go to the bank. And the thing about the bank, like I don't have a lot of bank experience. I don't often take out more than $5,000 in my life. Like that's ridiculous, right? But I've talked to some people who've been scammed. And they talk the bank past these controls, where if the bank had said, I'm sorry, sir, our controls, say, $5,000, come back tomorrow, we'll give you the two grand, you know?

The bank should stand up for these controls. What is the point of these controls? It's like the phone call people, everyone thinks that their SIM card is safe. But if you talk to the phone call people enough and get them to unlock the SIM card, like, or to change your phone number, you know, I really need this to be done, I've moved, I don't have access to the mail, box anymore. Please help me out, man. Like, my sister's cousin's baby is screaming. I need you to get this mailbox changed over for me. Like, can you help me, man? I mean, this is really make my day. I mean, these people are masters, right? They're like, I mean, I'm joking here, but they have skills, right?

They're emoting and connecting to these people. Grandma, you know, save my life here. I sent you $1,000 instead of $100. Like, I'm going to lose my job. My sister is going to be in the streets. Like, you know, but again, it's not to stop with this. It's going to keep going. I think, Darren, when do you think the United States will ban all crypto ATMs? And this year, two years, five years, what do you think? Two years, two years. But within two years, I reckon, you know, they will look at the, how well it's worked in the UK, you know, and they'll follow that. But it's a, yeah, you know, sometimes when the government's do something right and it's like one of those this is the evil thing we will ban this we will protect you and and it's just it's not going to help at all and it's really you know it should be about educating people about what scams look like you know what's what what happens what isn't going to happen you know i say with the um with with the metropolitan police calls that i get they spoof the telephone number to come from a real Metropolitan Police number.

They, you know, and it's just, it's just a lie. I've had other people that I know they've said they know their address because maybe they've had a ledger and their address has leaked in that and they say, you know, we're half a mile from your home, we're going to come now and arrest you unless you do X, Y and Z. You know, all of that time, precious stuff. And when they know information about people, people's names, people's addresses, all of the stuff that's being leaked all over the place all the time, that they are just vectors for them to do their sort of, you know, take advantage to people. And older people are more sort of at risk because they're more trusting and they don't really understand what's sort of going on and why.

And it's only going to get worse and worse. It's terrible, really. Well, I'm going to talk about it more at the end of the show, but the scammers are so good at what they do. two recent friends where they're like established telegram accounts we used to talk all the time and that of course they happen to be in this cryptocurrency industry which as you know is full of thieves right everyone is trying to steal from you so I get these weird messages from them and they're the exact kind of messages you want to get oh let's you know how are you doing what you've been up to and then at the end it's a calendar invite and I get really fishy feeling I'm like are they AI gathering me and it's just a program and they're lazy or Is this worse?

Is this a scam? And so I have my AI check it out. And my A's like, you know, oh, both of those people have posted to their Twitter accounts that their telegram accounts were hacked. And apparently they didn't get them back. And now the account is burning through their contacts one at a time. And again, you feel comfortable because it's your friend's account. And you're like, oh, it's of course, you know, Tommy wouldn't scam me, not Tommy, you know, he's friend. But, you know, it's going to be like this. It's going to be a calendar invite. And I think it's going to be these zoom invites or things that are like Zoom that take over your computer. Whatever it is, you're going to click a button, your computer's going to be taken over, and they're going to steal everything on your computer, which didn't used to be such a problem, but now is a huge problem because you might have cryptocurrency or keys or whatever on your computer, and people get stolen from that way.

So yeah, we've got to watch out, and yeah, it's not going to stop because they banned ATMs. But we'll keep covering the story until it's nationally banned. I agree with there, and I think about two years might be right. have the midterms coming up then the presidential election so i could see this folding in with data centers and i forget the third thing that they're mad about with tech they want to ban something about a i but um generative ai taking over stuff i don't know some kind of thing they want to ban but mainly it's data centers because they're loud oh bitcoin mining yeah because bit more mining happens in data centers too so that's our problem as well but uh yeah they're definitely going to try to ban this stuff coming up and and they're going to do it for the children and for the old folks folks and they don't know what they're doing.

And everybody knows, like, my friend who had one of these in his convenience store, and we tell the story every time, but he had to stop people. He had to say that him stop. And yes, that probably hurt his bottom line. He probably got a kick of, like, 10% or whatever, the money that goes through the machine. It would have been way better to just let them send the money through. And these people get angry at him when he stops them from being scanned. They are mad. So the same way that, like, can't use the ATMs or they use them the guys are just going to do money orders they're going to put the money in jars and send it through the mail like this this isn't over people are going to keep getting scammed unfortunately it's an educational issue and sadly if anything the telephone the email the way that the old people are being contacted is the problem so if you really want to solve it like i mean the calls have to go through your your son or something the mail has to go through your son everyone has to have a more complicated procedure and no one likes that.

But you have to keep people locked out of their accounts. And then you can't trust the bank to lock it. The bank's just going to unlock it because, oh, well, sir, you had a $5,000 limit, but we're going to let you withdraw $100,000 because you convinced us a lot today. And it's Tuesday. Really, guys, really? But in the UK, it's gone the other way with the banks, right? So, you know, I had an issue with a ticket payment. know, the bank wanted me to tell them exactly what it was for, you know, why was I spending this amount of money, blah, blah, blah, blah. And it wasn't an excessive amount of money either. You know, so I've had to jump through hoops to say, you know, it's none of your business, what I'm spending it on, right?

Any transactions that I do or transfers, I now have to indicate, you know, what am I doing with this? You know, what's that payment for? And you get like little sort of questionnaires like with sort of you know five or six questions as somebody told you to this payment right have you got it from a website you know blah blah blah blah blah it's say it's so the pendulum can swing the other way where it actually becomes friction for anybody doing anything you know that is perfectly legal to do so yeah it there's a balance somewhere in the middle and for me it always comes back to there's an education piece which we educating people isn't just old people you know I know sort of people in their 20s and 30s that have been scammed.

Maybe they don't sort of talk about it as much, but anybody is a potential victim. If you thought stable coin interest was going to destroy the banks, whether you make it like how Darren's saying you can't send your money anywhere, you can't deposit money in, and especially to pay a ticket, that's the worst. You get like a $500 traffic ticket and they call you up on the phone. They're like, sir, you don't usually send $500 to the Department of Justice traffic department like it's really obvious where the money's going right like there's no like you actually didn't get scammed you're using your bank account to pay the traffic department like it's how it's supposed to work and and that they would hassle you over that is the worst and and I've heard it before and people say it happens to them on their coin base and other accounts where they say where did you get this money and suddenly the whole relationship changes like I mean I pay taxes like I pay on what I'm earned and all that but like I don't know where I got it Like, I wasn't tracking it like $100 to $100.

Like, oh, this $20 you spent on gum and candy bars. Like, where did you get that money? Like, it's just, and that's where I think this whole libertarian streak and all of that comes back. And they're like, ah, we told you. So we told you they're going to track you and all those things. So I can definitely hear those people out there celebrating with their proton mail accounts. But they're probably filtering. I probably can't get their messages because they're just filtering them out. It was so easy. Well, let's move on to issue four. Back to something more fun. We've got Gal Godot defending her performance in the upcoming AI-assisted film Bitcoin. She says, it's all me.

And according to the article, she said it was the longest contract she ever negotiated. They did not want the AI to adjust her performance or her look or whatever. But she was fine with the AI lighting her, really strange because the light is going to affect her look and her performance and all of that things. So that's complex. But as you know, Darren, I'm not sure if you guys are up on this. We cover this here every couple weeks with the audience. There's a new movie called Bitcoin. It's funded by Calvin Air. So you know it's really going to be one-sided and true. It's all about how Satoshi, aka Craig Wright, is perpetrated in these evil technology people.

and media people chase him down. And it used to be called Killing Satoshi, which I thought was a sensational title. And also too reminiscent of Bill O'Reilly's series of books, killing John F. Kennedy, killing Washington, killing so on and so forth. I thought he had that kind of locked up, even though he's a fallen media personality and all that. But yes, killing Satoshi is now Bitcoin. The story is the same. And the kicker is, get ready for this. To save money, even though they've got a real cast, they've got some great actors, they've got Doug Lyman, he directed Swingers and the Born Identity and a lot of other movies. It's a great, great thing. He's going to direct the whole thing on what seems to be a stage or a set, maybe a green screen or a volume, whatever you want to say, and the AI is going to put the backgrounds in.

So instead of going to Switzerland or instead of filming outside like they probably did for the board, identity we're just going to put you in a sound stage and you're going to act it's kind of a breakthrough movie there's never been a movie like this so in addition to the whole bitcoin and the ridiculous Craig Wright story this is now a third thing to focus on to get distracted from it's our first major movie we've had other ones though Darren what do you think about the upcoming film now now titled Bitcoin yeah Yeah, what can I say? I mean, so I don't think I have a problem with the AI element of it at all. And I think that's only going to get more and more.

And if the filmmakers can, I presume they're going to save money by having the AI put in backgrounds, although I don't really understand what the AI is really going to be doing there because they could be putting backgrounds on anyway that doesn't need artificial intelligence to do that. Well, the volume famously has video games doing the background. So like, let's say you and I are going to walk through a tunnel. It makes a path of us walking through a tunnel. Okay, right. An unreal engine, like makes the path move. I don't know the major difference between that, which was done by like an artist versus us saying generate a path where we walk forward, like except that it's a little lazy and one more guy loses his job.

I see it mainly as a cost-cutting measure and something where they're going to say in the future, well, they made that one movie with AI, therefore you could make other ones. It's kind of breakthrough in the way like Waking Life had the rotoscoping and they drew over everybody or Toy Story had the 3D animated characters. Like this is a first of something we're going to see a lot more of. Every TV show that you watch, even though we don't know it, they go down to the beach or whatever. a green screen, right? They have a couple of bars of like a pier and you lean over the pier off into the green distance and they're blue or whatever. So it's not that different.

I mean, the volume's a big deal. If you guys haven't heard, there's this thing they film Star Wars in. Basically, it's like a green screen surrounded by green screens. And they're all, because the screens are 4K now, you can film them and they look like a background. The old screens, like TV screens, like we used to have looked like TV screens when you filmed them. so you couldn't film people in front of TV screens, but now you can. And this is an extension of that, this AI thing. But what do you think about her defending her position here? This is almost like nudity or something. She's like, I didn't do the AI acting. I'm not, I'm not doing that. But like, again, she's putting people out of work.

She's putting the set decorators out of work. I mean, we're putting all, like, just not the actors yet, not the acting, no. Yeah, well, well, the actors will follow, though, right? And that's the thing is that, you know, and maybe she'll just, you know, license her like this on things. If I sort of play devil's advocate, I can actually see how this could be a good thing. If that technology trickles down to like sort of newer, younger, sort of like sort of, you know, startup filmmakers, you know, if they can access that technology to tell their stories that they want in a cheaper way, I've got to go and get funding for like my 100 million bound film.

That can still be a benefit, right, for people starting out or all sort of those independent filmmakers. But if you've got a big studio, you know, that just feels like you're just after sort of like saving the money. You don't really care. You know, that's it's all a financial thing at the end of the day, I'm sure. Well, it certainly should open up options for young filmmakers. Remember the movie Clerks, he had access to a convenience store. So he shot a movie about guys who worked in a convenience store, right? Like what we're saying now is if you had this technology, a warehouse or an empty garage and a bunch of green screens and your bunch of kids, you had a bunch of free time, you could make a real or more real movie.

I think the problem is, again, with the scope of this. I think you could make Glenn, Gary, Glenn Ross at home. You could make a play. You could make something that takes place a box and maybe you could have phone calls they call london or they call paris or all this i think this is supposed to be a thriller right the bitcoin thing so if they're chasing each other around and the set's not big enough like are they going to run off one side of the set and come back on the other side and you know restage it and just use the cuts to hide around this i'm really curious how it turns out like as a film like to come and wash it in addition to the bitcoin aspects which unfortunately i think we're going to hate i think everybody's going to come out of this saying like oh they got the wrong guy oh why are they saying that Craig is being tortured and all this stuff and and again hats off to Calvin air and his people this is a major movie this is I mean I think it's going to fail I don't know the people are going to believe that this is Satoshi after this and I don't know that the last movie we had which was about the Silk Road and it gave like a third of the movie or more to the FBI agents who stole his money like all of the ideology of of dread pirate roberts can't fill a movie we got to bring the fbi agents in who are their ideology is all of like i see i steal they don't have much more to their characters and at least in the film version i'm sure they're very complex criminals in real life but uh allegedly and so forth but uh yeah yeah this bitcoin story it's it's a bad story the ai thing's bad uh the only thing's good is we've got like you know gal gaddo and case I mean, we've got the secondary Affleck, who I think has a Me Too problem, so on and so forth.

So I don't know the details on that. I'm not going to comment there. But again, to say again with Galgado, this is a woman who turned down Wonder Woman 3. This is a fountain of terrible decisions. Like there was free money there. She could have bridged into the new Superman, but she was all like, allegedly according to the media, she was upset about what they did about getting rid of the old Superman. But like, they're all. always getting new supermen right like it's like james bond or whatever like i don't think he's upset like he's not giving up roles and movies and stuff because he's not superman i'm sure he'd take he'd be in the bitcoin film if they asked him but uh yeah yeah we'll have to see it uh when it comes out there exit question i mean you're going to see the bitcoin film i mean it sounds pretty fun maybe on home video what do you think yeah maybe maybe you'll go straight to dbd or whatever the equivalent is nowadays um yeah i mean i mean i'll probably watch it i don't think i'll like it but i'll watch it we can only hope that the a i overlords who are making the film will have a like a pre-screening torrent leak and they'll be like the best way to get more views is to leak it on torrents bra bra bra blah blah and then they'll just leak it or whatever who knows what their plan is but bitcoin the movie which again it's a killer title so so it ruins all other titles like you could you could call a movie bitcoin the movie and it would be more interesting you'd be like behind the scenes of how Bitcoin got.

But this is going to be some, you know, thriller thing. Thriller. So let's see what's going on. Let's move on to the next story. We have another fun story here. Inside the English soccer club, betting its future on Bitcoin. And CNBC has done a major report here. I was just watching it before the show on Peter McCormitt's Real Bedford, the soccer team or football team that he purchased a few years ago. They take lots of Bitcoin sponsorship. I think they let you pay in Bitcoin. And I'm kind of jealous now. I want one of these jerseys. It has a Bitcoin logo on the jersey. It's a very small soccer team in the middle of nowhere. But that seems to be a recurring theme as I watched Welcome to Rexum.

And then you watch the real games and all these things. Or you watched Ted Lasso, kind of the same story. Darren, what do you think? You've got the Englishman on for football again. fan of football? What do you think about the crypto or Bitcoin team up there in the north? Yeah, I mean, yeah, I'm the biggest fan of football, yeah. No, I mean, they're not alone in the UK as football teams that are, you know, taking Bitcoin. You know, I think obviously with the sort of the Winkleby and their sort of fingers in that pie, you know, obviously Real Bedford are the sort of the big ones in the game there. I mean, I don't have a problem with them with doing Bitcoin.

I thought it was quite interesting about how much they're actually taking in from fans that come. You know, there was in the video it talked about, I think somebody said, you know probably about 20% of people pay with bitcoin when they come to the matches but then he said it depended on the event and that made me think hang on a minute is that the sort of weekend that they do cheat code and then does the rest of the time does nobody actually really want to depart with their bitcoin if they're a football fan so i don't i don't know i say i'm not i'm not a i'm not a football guy so i don't really sort of um you know i don't I don't go to matches or anything like that.

Maybe I did when I was a kid. But yeah, fair play, you know, paying your players in sort of Bitcoin, taking Bitcoin in, doing Bitcoin things, you know, the advertising, everything like that. I don't see that as a particular problem. I think more people should be doing that anyway. Yeah, I think it's pretty sweet. There's nothing bad about this. This is a cool thing. And it's cool to see he's trying to pay the players, trying to use the Bitcoin, putting it on jerseys again bitcoin like the Las Vegas logo is open source and free you can just take the logo put it on anything all the all the coiners learn that all the Bitcoin cashers and all the other people with their different colored Bitcoin logos totally changes everything but no I think this is a great story obviously it falls in the line of Ted Lassow and then welcome to Rexum especially the Rexum where Rob McElaney from Always Sunny and Rob Ryan Reynolds from Deadpool and Van Wilder, they buy a small soccer team.

And the thing about football in the UK, and I hope that Bedford's in this system, but I think they're pretty low, is if they win the league, they get promoted. So there was this idea in their heads that by buying this low-level team, they could get it promoted. And then out of some miracle, they get it promoted back to back to back. doesn't work. They're working on now another promotion for the fifth time. But what incredible to buy a team that's like, you know, a minor league team. And then pretty soon you're almost playing the New York Yankees. You're almost up to the top. So it is exciting. Maybe Real Bedford could do the same. Yeah, I'm sure with the, you know, the money that's backing them that, you know, they can buy sort of better players from like sort of leagues above and sort of work the way up i'm sure um somebody's got a strategy around how they do that that's pretty neat to see the winkle fight doing that as well and it's not it's not charity uh but this is better than what brian armstrong's doing with his money like uh if he was just investing in a football team and they'd say oh you lost so much money on that football team nobody cares uh but you lost so much money while you criticize charity oh everybody cares all of a sudden but but but the interesting as well it's like you know that isn't going for a big premier league club it's going for a smaller league club in in a smaller town you know so so that's supporting local communities local people you know and all of that sort of good stuff so i think um yeah i think fair play to them well we do have to mention our other crypto loyalties in the football or soccer field uh rexum as we said is now wearing firefox on their jerseys.

I want one of those too. So put me down for a Wrexham jersey and one of these Bedford jerseys. And then I already have and have basically started rooting for the team, Athletico Madrid, because they're sponsored by Cracken. They have a crackin patch on the sleeve. And when you watch the games, they put little cracking on the runner behind it. It blows my mind. I watch it and I say, this little thing that my friend Jesse I went to college with started in a shooting. box in you know San Francisco startup now is big enough it's sponsoring a football team and it's not the big football team it's this it's the smaller team or whatever but still it's awesome so I've been rooting for them and watching them so there's a lot of crypto in football these days it's a very surprising but let's keep the show going let's see what else we've got for you we got a little extra stuff like I said just want to put the announcement on if old friends are suddenly messaging you wanting to have a meeting it means their account got hacked and the hacker is using the AI to fish the replies I got very convincing messages from my old friends at first it sounded like one of those oh how are you doing messages like a real thought you know honest one then it sounded like one of those business things where it's like I've got a new job or I need to get a job and I'm talking to all my contacts which is also okay right it's fine to set that out but then it got a real little weird when they said a Google Calendar invite and I imagine they were going to send one of those Zoom links where they could take over my computer and steal all my stuff.

Darren, what do you think about these accounts coming back and messaging you? Unfortunately, I think there's scams. Like, I want these messages. I want people to say, oh, I remember you from back in the day and send me a nice message. But unfortunately, they're just scams. They're not even just like, you know, business contact stuff. Like, oh, I haven't seen yet the things. position for me like it's unfortunate huh yeah i mean i mean going back to the uh the scam stuff we talked about earlier yeah they're only on the increase they are really sophisticated the um they come from people that you you know you think you know even if it isn't sort of old sort of school friends you know it could be people you know in the crypto sort of area and um you know all people that you might be expecting to have like a sort of like a meeting with um you know there are a lot of the people that i know that have been had in a very similar way it's that social engineering element to it right it's um yeah i think i think anybody anybody contacting you out of the blue um you know you've got to be super wary of right and always be wary of legs and um yeah it it's you've got to have your wits about you and it's very easy to um to get yourself where you've got some malware on your machine and they're sort of trolling for any sort of Bitcoin wallets or banking stuff that's on there or documents or, you know, maybe you've got a word document with 24 words in it.

You know, it's a it's going to be on the rise. Be careful. I mean, on some of my stuff, I've got some libraries that I've been building to do trusted words between. people so you meet somebody in sort of meat space and you can exchange a secret and so you could tell me a word and I can tell you a word and I know I'm actually talking to you so yeah I do have some crypto donkey open source software out there that's MIT license that that can help with this other stuff it's a problem it's amazing how gone how bad it's gotten and it's all about this idea of identity right and in many ways Facebook was supposed to solve this. They had all the money and all the reason to verify identities, to do a real name system, and to really be bold on it, but they couldn't keep growth up.

Once they had everybody's real name, they needed you to create a new account and another new account, an account for your business, and another group account, because you have to have growth. We can't just have every person in the world on our system with a real name system, which I thought would have been valuable. I thought that's what they would have went towards. but I didn't understand the growth metrics before and they have to have growth so I think that's happening I think it's unfortunate to see telegram fall where there must be something wrong with my friends accounts they must have smaller passwords or something that's happened where they could be taken over or they don't use telegram anymore I think is a common thing they've moved on to another server another software I might have to go to signal who knows what people are going to have to do but I agree with Darren that then messages are going to keep coming got to have your wits about you got to teach your friends and family not to send money because you know they only wanted a calendar invite they could have just said oh i'm i'm down on my luck send me a couple grand and uh for a lot of people if they throw a bitcoin address in there and it's a good friend and they need 500 bucks they'll just send it so we you know and that's how these scams that's how people message you days later they're like hey i sent you that money you don't even thank me you know that's the kind of messages you're going to get so Yeah, I think as well, you know, we talked about some of the AI stuff earlier is that I can clone somebody's voice with five or six seconds of their audio.

So if you're a scammer and you're ringing somebody and you're talking to that person, you can clone their voice very easily. You know, if you've got video of you on Facebook or whatever, you know, you could take that and you can, or even photographs, you can make convinced video. So, you know, those whole sort of deep fake things of like looking like the person, sounding like the person is trivial to do nowadays. And then if you combine that with like dirty scammers and their social engineering, you know, techniques, you know, you can get a phone call. This can be your sort of, you know, your daughter, you know, the whole thing like, oh, I'm out. I've lost my phone.

I'm on my friend's phone. Can you send me like sort of or $50. So X and Y, you know, all of these things are going to happen more and more and more as the technology becomes cheaper. And, you know, that barrier to entry for the scammers is becoming really, really low. And so it's easy money for them. Especially if you think they could automate it. Imagine you don't even have to run the scams yourself. It just calls up more people and you just set up the system. But with all things, we have the worst of AI. We also have the best. of AI bonus feature. A shout out to Christian Moss at Mandel Duck. We've got more Bitcoin Seinfelds to watch. Most of these I tried not to watch, so I want to react to them live.

Darren, are you ready for Bitcoin Seinfeld? I'm ready. Here we go. Four. Four. Kramer, where'd you get these dice? The Monopoly box. What? I said get casino grade. What are you doing? Don't look. I've got to do it all again now. I'm making my Bitcoin wallet. You know what? You should make a brain wallet. What's a brain wallet? It's a wallet that only exists in your head. No paper, no steel. You remember the phrase. Why would I do that? Taxes. You remember your phrase. Then you pretend you lost the wallet. IRS comes around. You say you lost all your Bitcoin. haven't. Genius. Are you sure this is a good idea? It's perfect. Kramer, you getting this? Oh, I got it. Whoa. Oh, no. My private keys.

And you sure you remember your brain wallet? Yes, of course. First one, yep. Second one, got it. Third one. Um, uh huh. Damn. Wow, that was great. That was, that was a little heavy, I think, for normal people knowing what a brain wall it is and knowing what 24 words are but like for us I mean for this really thin slice of audience gosh I think that was perfect like I just I sit back and I get tricked into it I'm watching and I think Kramer's talking about Bitcoin like Kramer knows about like this is so fun for me like I love the Kramer knows about Bitcoin now I love them rolling the dice in the beginning how funny is that and how topical with the cold card disaster and so forth Darren what do you think of our first Bitcoin sign-Fell we have a few more of these actually.

Yeah, I think it's absolutely awesome. I love the boating accident. I mean, it was just like, yeah, really, really good, really funny. Really clever as well. All right, the next one's a short, only 15 seconds. Let's see what's going on again. Shout out to at Mandel Duck. He's making these with some AI thing. Very cool. It says that George tries to flex and pay in Bitcoin doesn't go to plan. I'll pay in Bitcoin. Decentralized. Wow. I must be very proud. I might as well have paid cash. My Bitcoin. You finally found somebody interested in your Bitcoin. I'll pay in Bitcoin. It's great again. Just perfect, perfect execution. I feel terrible. I think I dress like George now.

I think I look like George. And now he's playing, he's playing Bitcoin. He's doing all my things. So, yeah, I find this personally sad, especially him being made fun up by the woman. for payment. Aren't your parents proud? Like, oh, sick burn. But what a fun, what a fun setup. What a fun video. Again, I take it as real Seinfeld. I watch it in my mind says, this is real Seinfeld. They're talking about your cool stuff. This is a little bit of what I try to tell people in like, what's the AI going to do? Well, it's going to bring this custom software to you where instead of using Mac OS and everyone uses MacOS, you're going to use a custom software that's going to have all your stuff and it's going to make custom entertainment like this for you i said they could if you really like cheers they're going to make new cheers episodes and they're going to be complaining about president trump drinking their beers at the thing and like they have some of these i don't think we're watching them but they're not bitcoin related but there's like you know only fans ones but like elaine being in only fans like modern jokes in old sitcoms uh it's horrible derivative copy and paste xerox machine culture but that's what you're going to have and it seems it's what you're going to want like if they offered you more friends episodes you would probably take them like you wouldn't really care even if it's AI Matthew Perry like you're not going to care like you're going to look past it Darren what do you think about the short episode two there and of course my resemblance to George the horribleness I think it's I think it's very clever very funny and and also a bit scary at the same time is when I was saying about like that barrier to entry is lower you know it's i think you're probably right about where things are going to go you're you know you're not going to you're not going to you'll you'll come home and you will you will sit on your sofa and you will say uh make me up some um you know country and western music and it will just do it and it will play it and then you'll say oh i want to have an episode of the simpsons but you know on to cross it with like you know some some other sort of program star trek and it will do it for you and give you whatever content you want, but it will do that by, you know, recycling those old episodes and taking those things out and then stitching them back together in another way.

And, yeah, it's going to be interesting times ahead, I think. Well, and I can't even see this as a positive anymore. I don't think that if you said cross it with Star Trek, I don't think it's going to have space and science fiction and all those things. form of this is what's going to survive and then it's going to dominate and all of these cultural things will just be you know heads that it wears like different costumes uh that it puts on but the real horror show is like no new culture like nothing new like this isn't this isn't like i could create us that because here's the thing i want to say so with youtube i was like oh we can all have our own shows like this is really exciting right but if you look at mr beast not to insult the man obviously he's a king of YouTube.

But what he really learned about was audience retention. And what he really said, and the advertiser said this too, is they said that YouTube is a factory for technological audience retention. The goal here is to keep you watching. The algorithm will provide you with new stuff that is perfectly targeted to you to keep you watching. It's not to elevate you or bring you alternative opinion or bring you, you know, amateur-made content like this, you know, somebody's true opinion or voice or whatever. None of that is the thing. It turned out all of that was like things they did at first, you know, like with the replies and you'd have a video reply to a video and that's kind of what you too used to be about.

But instead it's become this marketing machine where the marketing also wants to know how long did you watch? What is your background? How old are you? What sex are you? Where do you live? How much money do you have? Did you click on the ad? If I show you the ad down below or big different words, all of that. And I knew this too from trying to work at marketing at a Bitcoin company. They have incredible data. You can target people down to incredible finite levels and say, you know, I want people that stand on one foot while they salute the national anthem and they wear red hats. And they'll be like, for $100 a month, we can get you that customer, sir. So on the same side, that advertising engine has also been transforming the content.

And this has also come from places like Netflix and Amazon video where they've done studies where they say people don't watch the movie. It's a horrible thing for me and Kubrick and everybody else who's like, I love the image and I love to the visualization aspect to fill its film and vision and all the reality is you're walking in and out of the room doing your laundry and we need somebody to say the plot out loud. We're going to rob the Federal Reserve Tuesday at 2 o'clock. The entire gang is coming. Who's coming? entire gang. Like, they have to state the plot out loud clearly multiple times because the studies show, and again, this is the horror side of data.

We're not getting better movies. We're not getting more unique and original autour visions. We're getting tighter versions of that thing the story guy put down. The inciting element must be in 11 minutes. The, you know, character must go through the hero's journey and change in the end. Like, we're getting the hyper-textualization, computerization of that. Everything's going to be tight and perfect and delivered to you. And the horrible part is you're not going to care. Like just like Tom Cruise trying to get you to change your TV to turn off the high dynamic range and the other things that mess up the picture, you're not going to care. You're just going to watch your AI version of Cheers with the modern references.

And you're going to watch Johnny Carson and David Letterman or whatever it's going to be. And you'll just watch the computer versions of them. So yeah, maybe the Bitcoin movie is a little too. prophetic. We've got more Seinfeld. Let's go back to fun. It's supposed to be fun. Come on, Darren. The rest are all really short, so let's give you a try. I love at first, Bitcoin. George and Jerry hit the town. Just George finally, orange pill somebody. Limited. Bitcoin is limited. 21 million. Nobody can just make more. That's fascinating. You're so smart. Why don't you get us another drink? Then I've got a proposition for you. She's into me. Go home without me. Sure. So, what's this proposition?

Have you heard about Ripple? Ripple? XRP. Huge upside. Ripple's working with banks all over the world. Banks? Major financial institutions. Jerry! I thought I was going home. Bitcoin is limited. It's crushing. Unbelievable. Well, again, fantastic work by Christian Moss at mandel. this guy, whatever he needs, because, gosh, I thought they were just going with the, you know, she's a prostitute or she doesn't like George or whatever. And to see, also to hear my words come out of George's mouth again, it's just horrifying. They're only 21 million Bitcoin. I say that stupid stuff all the time. Oh, and then she comes back with Ripple. Darren, I thought it was perfect.

Again, the timing, the voices. What do you think? It's absolutely, absolutely hilarious, right? I mean, you know, sort of, yeah, It's the AI slot, but we love it. Well, you know how it is? Unfortunately, or maybe unfortunately, there's more, I think it gets even more personal as George is now wearing my hat. He's wearing the t-shirt that I think we all wear, and he's going to a Bitcoin meetup. So here's George's first Bitcoin. And again, a lot of these I haven't seen. These are, and they're just so good. Oh, let's see we go. In 1971, Nixon closed the gold window. The dollar broke from gold. Central banks took the wheel, and money became powerful. Hey, this is the entire monetary system we're talking about.

Two outs. Bottom of the ninth. Who's up? The revolution will resume after the game. In 1971, Nixon closed the... Oh, very quick, very fun little joke. Again, I like it. I love the timing. The setup, the joke, and George being into the ball game. Darren, what do you think? Just another home run. It says great. It's great. Really, really funny. Really funny. All right. We got one more. It says George is sure as Jerry. The Bitcoin is not a cult. And now he's wearing my actual hat. I'm a big nerd. And he's got the Bitcoin shirt on. One more by Mandel Duck on Twitter. George, I think you're in a cult. Bitcoin is not a cult. Fix the money. Fix the world. You only eat steak now?

Plants are fiat food. Get that away from me. Those are shit coins. George. Sailor starts in 10. There is no second best. There is no second best. Definitely not a cult. Wow. Definitely not a cult. Well, they got us there. I think it's a, fortunately, it's our own industry guy making fun of our own industry. But again, shout out to Mandel Duck at Christian Moss. Great stuff on Twitter with the George and Jerry Seinfeld. I've seen a lot of different George and Jerry ones. I saw the only fan one. I like one of the videos today had George talking about how he was an LLM. You're like, I'm an LLM, Jerry. I'm just repeating words that come to me at my mind, blah, blah, blah.

And it was so great. And, of course, they're using this example because all these history videos now apparently being copied and they take the history out of them, but they keep the content and they keep the thumbnails and the titles and all that. And it's a disaster for these people who work months and months to make these real history videos and examining events. And I think, again, that's just more of what's coming. More of what's coming for every industry is these horrible copies. But the bright side of us, we can enjoy some Seinfeld. George's joined a cult there. He's joined a cult. Yeah, well, he needs to join the cult of the 600 billion. They, no, absolutely great stuff, great stuff.

I'm really, really funny, really funny, really clever. And they look seamless, though. At first I thought that the voices were off or the mouths didn't match. Then I really started to focus. Their mouths were matching. They were closing up these closing words. Like, I think it's seamless. voices sound so good i don't i don't hear it as like jerry i mean i i know it used to like to try to do this stuff it used to be terrible and um yeah that the sets are good the department i mean the shirt's a little over the top the hat's a little over the top but it created it worked for the joke i mean that it served the joke so uh yeah again just incredible stuff i don't know how long it takes them to do those or yeah i i i was thinking exactly that i i wonder how long um how takes him to do one of those little shorts.

Yeah, interesting. I feel like the new models practically come with George and Jerry loaded, the poor bastards, as a demo set. I mean, I think the previous ones, people are like, simpsonizing themselves or I think Studio Ghibli was very upset for a while. They're like, everyone just makes a studio Ghibli style video. That's like not a style. That's something we worked hard on for like a generation, you know, of all this. But again, that's the true horror. Like, and I was watching. the video where the guys it was on Fern and he was talking about how AI was copying all of their videos and then there's it's worse for those guys because there's actual videos tutorials where a guy like me or you was on there he's like oh and here's how you just copy Fern's voice and their style and here's how you copy their thumbnail and here's how you make a video just like theirs but we don't care about the content like it doesn't matter if the history is right we just want to make something clickable that just fills your time and this misinformation this like thing where These guys have built these towers of like incredible reporting on historical events and they do all this work and they get all the numbers right and everything.

And then somebody comes along just copies it, takes the middle out, but then sells it anyway. And then they get as many clicks or more clicks. And they definitely take clicks from the original and they take clicks from the old idea of like watching documentaries on YouTube. Like maybe that's a mistake. Maybe watching anything. And then that's the whole YouTube platform goes down, it seems, because of this. AI stuff at the end of the day. Really like take it to its logical conclusion of how easy it is. Because I think, Darren, all you have to do is go to the newest model. So whatever Twitter is saying is the newest model, I want to say H3 Max or something, but I don't know the right words.

I don't want to be quoted on that. But I'm sure Mandel Duck is using the newest model. George and Jerry do this. They go into the story. Maybe he writes a little script. But the plot where he describes Seinfeld has got to be a sentence. It's got to be like, make it Seinfeld style. Like make it like animated. smurf show like make it like communist propaganda all these short terms it just cranks it out right yeah yeah and and he's probably using uh i i to write some of the scripts as well and maybe he comes in afterwards and sort of tweaks it a little bit you know and adds a bit of like sort of extra sort of fun in there but yeah i yeah the if the next time i i bump into him i might ask him how he's doing it Well, it's magnificent.

We enjoyed featuring it here on the show and I enjoyed reacting to them live too. I think that's fun too. But we're going to run out of time. Darren, do you have a story of the week or a prediction? Anything you'd like to say at the end of the show? I don't know. I sort of wanted to say about sort of what I'm working on, right? So I'm doing some stuff on my forge wall and stuff, which is all sort of like Bitcoin, Noster, sort of open source. freedom tech but I've been hard at work on some health sort of apps for that which which probably going to get sort of launched at dark Prague the end of September early October so I'm looking forward to that it's a good it's a good news story but maybe not just ready yet well that sounds fantastic Darren keep us updated on what you're working on I don't have much to say either just the same thing about that story watch out for your friends You think it's an old friend.

You take your guard down. It's in your trusted telegram app. But then the friend is just trying to fish you and get you to click on a bad link. So friends don't let friends click on bad links.
