An excellent chronicle of a very important hacking and hacktivist group. Fascinating behind the scenes information that I'd never heard before. Interesting career paths as most seem to go into government or corporate security.

An excellent depiction and history of how computer security came to be. Especially interesting that breaking and entering computers was not as important as propaganda detection as it turned out.

Of course, may the book is mainly known for the shocking revelation that Beto O'Rourke was a member in good standing of the CDC, which led to myself and many others being much more interested in much more positive about Beto.

Personal side note, I was present at the DEF CON convention when back orifice was announced. It was an amazing show. Very exciting software, and the beginning of remote administration on computers. Which is an incredibly valuable tool for networks. Brought Bravo CDC
