In a nice light book about a little girl's uncle, and later a beer fairy, telling her how beer is made, drank and used throughout civilization, delightfully told in the style of a children's book. The book intended to be read to children by their grandfather and featuring several annotative and fourth wall breaking passages to the grandfather is yet another classic from Tom Robbins. Short and sweet, intended for children. It's a pleasure to be in the presence of the great master again. Robert so effortlessly directs his characters, while enthusing Wow while stitching into his story, historical facts and other in such a fun way. Delightful delightful Hidey ho. Tom Robbins.
