A Clergyman's Daughter by George Orwell - ★★★★

kindof a slow starter, I read the first section a while ago, and re-read it this time... Really picks up after she gets found by her relatives who are more concerned that she embarassed them in the newspaper, rather than that she lost her memory and had a breakdown. Followed by a great send up of the education system, Orwell is in fine form again with his powerful pen of satire taking down the system as it only cares for taking the student's funds and making the parents happy. As with the rest of Orwell's lesser novels, still well worth reading.
