Always great to hear the story of the Dalai Lama. his escape from China is exile in India. Tragic to read speech after speech of his incredibly reasonable dialogue with China, and at each level to be rejected over and over again. A heartbreaking story of the Tibetan people told through the Lamas writings and speeches, not so much. Much more of a history than his how to practice book not so much focused on spreading the word more about recounting his life and providing a rather excellent intact chronological version. very readable, rented on Kindle unlimited kind of push through the last section to get it done in time to end my subscription. A good read
