Rio Las Vegas opened 1990 as the first all-suite hotel-casino in Las Vegas. [[operator:caesars-entertainment|Caesars]] sold the property to Dreamscape Companies (Eric Birnbaum) in 2019 for $516M; Dreamscape took over full operations in October 2023. In 2026, [[operator:dreamscape-kennedy-lewis|Kennedy Lewis Investment Management]] acquired a majority stake, leaving Dreamscape as minority.
